The shop is fully manned on steaming days between 1300 and 1630. Additionally items
may be purchased on most Saturdays throughout the year between 1100 and 1500
whilst members are working on the engines or the mill buildings.
Available are various souvenirs from simple items such as pencils and bookmarks through
three styles of mug through to books, the instructive Bancroft CD (now in v.6.a), prints and
framed pictures. Additionally there are clocks, thinly disguised as pressure gauges whilst
Bancroft Mill tea towels of two types, one woven on our site are ever popular. We hope
that there is something for everyone.
On steaming days our refreshment counter is open with a variety of hot and cold drinks
and cakes.
