2012 Steaming Season

Bancroft’s 2012 steaming season is almost upon us and the winter’s work nearly complete. As usual we look forward to welcoming you and entertaining you to the delights of the museum along with a programme of official visitors who will interest and entertain us with their skills. There are one or two extra items that we hope to add in the near future. The programme of steaming dates is below and we start with our own Peter Robinson whose skills with various instruments are well known. New to the Bancroft scene are, Noreen Lobo who many will have seen doing portraits at local events, Patricia Jones, a renowned landscape artist from Barnoldswick who will exhibit landscapes whilst working on one in the engine hall and the Aire Valley Vintage Machinery Group who will run smaller industrial engines on site for you to view.
